Registration is now open for the Pranada Wellness 2025 Retreat Fundraiser to be held on March 15-20 at Temple of Compassion in Burton, Texas hosted by Pranada Wellness Center.
This Wellness Retreat is life-changing and a beautiful healing experience! Pranada has many experienced practitioners on the team along with other vital members volunteering to provide each participant with even more personalized care.
The cost of this all-inclusive, 5 & 1/2-day program is $1,550.00 USD and includes a 6-night stay at the Temple of Compassion.

This program is open to all.
Those who are not initiated into Kriya Yoga can attend all functions besides the guided Kriya meditations.

What to expect:
- One private consult from Dr. Adams. An Ayurvedic pulse reading is taken to discover your unique Tri-Doshic constitution and works in tandem with natural healing herbs, food, yoga, and meditation to restore balance.
- Two treatments with one of our three osteopathic physicians. Each of these physicians have been invited to participate based on their extensive experience, expertise, and knowledge. This one on one personalized, focused care is an integral part of this retreat.
- Two Shirodhara sessions by one of our skilled therapists. Experience the jewel of Ayurveda with this treatment that calms the mind and heals the nervous system. A stream of soothing warm oil baths the head and focuses on the forehead at the third eye. The treatment reduces stress and tension in the body creating deep relaxation, grounding, and healing to the mind which transforms your health in subtle yet powerful ways.
- Three organic, delicious, gourmet, tri-doshic meals a day. These meals are the cornerstone of the retreat. The food is very nourishing and sattvic however it is the love of the kitchen team who charges the food with prayers and mantras while preparing and cooking that make the food healing and restorative to the body. The meals are specifically designed to balance the mind/body and support spiritual progress.
- Three guided Kriya Yoga meditations per day by monastic residents of the ashram. Share the rare opportunity to practice with these international teachers and experience the healing energy amplified by the group of participants meditating together. (*Please note that guided meditation sessions are limited to those initiated into Kriya Yoga in the lineage of Paramahamsa Hariharanandaji and Paramahamsa Prajnananandaji. Other attendees may enjoy personal meditation time or nature walks on the beautiful property.)
- Daily classes and lectures on Ayurveda and Osteopathy. Educational, inspirational, and informative talks about wellness to help implement simple, healthy daily practices to transform overall health and to prevent or address specific health concerns.
- Daily guided yoga asana classes to improve circulation of oxygen, nutrients, and energy necessary for sustaining good health. With yoga, feel your Prana or Chi moving and strengthen your vital energy.

Dr. Olixn Adams

Dr. Olixn Adams is board certified in family medicine. He practices with Southern Coos Hospital in Brandon, Oregon. When caring for his patients in the clinic, hospital and emergency room, he uses traditional osteopathic medicine – a holistic, hands on and spiritual approach to medicine. He graduated from Midwestern University-Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2008 and completed his residency at North Colorado Medical Center. He has additional training in Ayurvedic Medicine and Homeopathy. As a faculty member of the Biodynamics of Osteopathy program, he lectures internationally and teaches physicians from around the world. Dr. Adams has found a remarkable similarity and synergy between the principles of Ayurvedic medicine and Osteopathic medicine. He has spent many years integrating these two beautiful systems of medicine into a deeper understanding of physiology, spirituality and the wholeness of life as it pertains to health, healing and well being.

Dr. Mitchell received her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2003 and completed her family medicine residency training in Baltimore Maryland. She did a fellowship in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine and Neuromuskuloskeletal Medicine in Bangor, Maine. She has practiced general Osteopathic Medicine since 2006 with offices in Baltimore and Marriottsville, Maryland and Auburn, Maine. She practiced Osteopathic Family Medicine including Traditional Osteopathic Medicine at Southern Coos Hospital Center in Bandon, Oregon, and is currently starting a general Osteopathic practice in Stamford, Connecticut.
She has advanced training in Traditional Osteopathy through the Biodynamics of Osteopathy Program, the Osteopathic Cranial Academy, the Sutherland Cranial Teaching Foundation and the American Academy of Osteopathy. She has lectured and trained students in Osteopathic courses and workshops at undergraduate and graduate levels. In addition, she is a faculty member of the Biodynamics Program dedicated to education in Traditional Osteopathic studies and the Bavarian Pediatric School and Clinic for Traditional Osteopathy. She has trained students in the United States, Germany, Canada, Japan, the Netherlands and Finland. She provided clinical services for the Osteopathic Children’s Clinic of Portland, Maine, trained at the Bavarian Pediatrics School and Clinic for Traditional Osteopathy, and has treated children of all ages. She provides general Osteopathic services, including primary care, for all age groups.

Dr. Bonnie Wong completed her family medicine residency in CO and an osteopathic fellowship in MA. She has been in AZ teaching medical students since 2017 and has recently opened her own private practice in Phoenix.

Dr. Maria Eppig is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Pain Medicine, and Integrative Medicine. She currently practices Pain Management at Southern Arizona VA Health Care System.
Rosa Harper

Rosa Harper is a licensed massage therapist and certified Ayurvedic Practitioner under the lineage of Dr. Vasant Lad. She has been practicing Ayurvedic body therapies for the past five years and is passionate about sharing the power of Ayurveda with others.
Kristina Adams

Kristina Adams is a practicing homeopath since 2005 having completed a four year program from Northwest Academy of Homeopathy and the Desert Institute of Homeopathy. She is a certified yoga instructor and artist with a Masters in Sculpture. She taught k-12 art for many years. Kristina studies Marma Point Therapy. She continues her fourth year of study in Vedic Astrology and Vastu and has completed training in Shirodhara.
